I’ve been a private pilot since 1982, and a lawyer since 1985. I’m also a retired USAF lieutenant colonel. A former prosecutor, municipal attorney and corporate counsel for a major national insurer, I also served as West Virginia’s Insurance Commissioner until September, 2021. Since retiring as Insurance Commissioner, I returned to the private sector as Business Leader of Government Affairs for a leading national insurance group. I am also an adjunct professor with Marshall University, teaching Aviation Law at its Bill Noe School of Aviation. |
